America's Choice Healthplans Rockets Up Philadelphia Business Journal's Annual Rankings

Houston,TX, December 5, 2000 - America's Choice Healthplans has leaped 22 places up the Philadelphia Business Journal's annual "Philadelphia 100" list of Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies to 26th, based on percentage growth in revenue over the preceding three years. From 1997-1999, America's Choice revenue exploded by nearly 260 percent, up nearly 120 percent over 1996-1998.

The company's revenues nearly doubled from 1998 to 1999, from just over $1.3 million to more than $2.6 million. With the increased business also came an increase in employees from 20 to 32.

"Since starting this company some six years ago, we have been ahead of the technology curve in the health benefits industry, and as more companies explore new options in both fields, America's Choice Healthplans has become an obvious choice," says America's Choice Healthplans President Clelland Green. "Our tremendous leap from 58 on last years PBJ list to 26 this year is indicative of this. Next year, we expect to see ourselves in the top 20, if not higher."
